Welcome to the 2012 Walking Programme

We invite you to attend our 8th Annual Walking Festival which coincides with the opening of the 870 Miles of Wales Coast Path.
Prestatyn, Meliden and surrounding areas are a wonderful base for walking enthusiasts.

It continues to build upon its Walkers are Welcome status, the first town in Wales to be awarded this prestigious accolade.
We will again be providing 3 days of walking opportunities and activities that will provide you with the opportunity to explore, learn more and enjoy the unique surroundings that Prestatyn and Clwydian Range AONB has to OFFA.

The general theme for 2012 is People & Places.
This year’s carefully put together programme Offas something for everyone - 40 mile Offas Dyke Challenge, Castle & Waterfalls, An Evening Walk, Geocaching, Nordic Walking, Hillside, Woodlands, Sand Dune walks and a variety of themed historical walks.
There is also a Viking exhibition, displays and a themed talk and presentation.
Our host venue offers refreshments in a cafe style atmosphere where you can sit, relax and talk about your walking adventures.
