The majority of walks start from the Upper Church Hall building in Prestatyn (grid ref: SJ 067 828) and the main public car park is accessible from the High Street which is one way to traffic. Proceeding up the High Street look out for the Boots Store on the right hand side at which point you turn left and after about 100m turn right just before public library, following signs to car park. The lower car park is a pay zone but the upper one, which is adjacent to Upper Church Hall is free.

Brickfield Pond (grid ref: SJ 014 802) is situated on the south side of Rhyl and is accessible from Rhuddlan using the A547 travelling north past large retail park on left hand side. At roundabout with Fordd Derwen Pub on left turn left onto Ffordd Derwen road and gated entrance to Brickfield Pond public car park is just after the school.

Prestatyn Youth Club (grid fef: SJ 062 824) Go to the top of Prestatyn High Street at junction turn right, up to the roundabout where you will turn right and after about 50m turn left down Fforddisa. After about 400m turn right down Dawson Drive and the Youth Club is at the bottom of this road on the left. Car parking is limited at the Youth Club so you may have to park on one of the side roads and walk there.

Gronant Institute (grid ref: SJ 092 831) is located in Upper Gronant and the car park can be accessed from the lane opposite the Gronant Inn. After about 100m take small unpaved passage on right which leads to large car park. To reach Gronant we suggest using the A548 coast road and follow the Gronant signs.

Graig Fawr (grid ref: SJ 061 800). To locate the Bryniau Car Park (free) follow the road from Prestatyn to Rhuddlan on the A547 through the village of Meliden and turn left on a minor road just before the Graig Park Country Club and proceed up the hill under the low bridge. The car park is situated about 500m on the left.

Gwaenysgor Village (grid ref: SJ 074 811) can be reached by going up Prestatyn High Street and at the cross roads head straight up Ffordlas following the road to the top and round a right bend. After about 200m take left incline and follow road through a series of “S “ bends climbing steeply. You will pass the view point on the right followed by a pond as you enter the village. The Eagle & Child pub is situated on one of the side roads (right hand side) where you park & walk to the pub. Alternatively, you could park at the viewing point and walk to the pub which is only about 500m away.

Scala Cinema (grid ref: SJ 065 830) is situated at the lower end of the High Street on the left hand side (one way system) opposite the millennium clock.

Trelawnyd (grid ref: SJ 090 798) is situated on the A5151 and the public car park is located about 100m on the right hand side of High Street which is a road off the A5151 on the opposite side of the Crown Inn.
