Prestatyn and Clwydian Range Walking Festival
Gŵyl Gerdded Prestatyn a Bryniau Clwyd

May 15-17 Mai 2026

A big welcome to the 21st annual Prestatyn & Clwydian Range Walking Festival offering twenty-one walks/events over three days with something of interest for everyone whatever their ability.

The festival theme this year focuses on raising public awareness about Biodiversity, Sustainability and Climate Change with walks featuring visits to Nature Reserves, Woodlands, Public Parks, and sites of special interest.

Prestatyn & Meliden is a beautiful seaside town with something special to offer visitors with a busy high street and thriving retail park. The town is proud to be a Walkers are Welcome community and was the first in Wales to receive this coveted status. It really is a walker’s paradise with so many way marked trails and public footpaths.

The popular Friday evening entertainment will be by Professor Llusern, a well-known storyteller and entertainer and his theme will be Welsh Myths, Folklore & Legends.

As always, you can be assured of a warm welcome in a beautiful part of North Wales betwixt the hills and sea.
